The main objective of the Teachers' Club is to
provide recreational activities to its members. Over the years,
the club has been organising numerous activities, namely:
- Outings
- Visits to numerous sites/places
- Nature walks
- Visits to islands surrounding Mauritius
- Visits to Rodrigues
- Voyages to Dubai , India , Singapore,
Malaysia and many other Asian countries.
- Forum / Débats
- Sports Activities
- Dramas
- Indoor competitions
- End of year dinner / lunch / parties
And most important of all, the organisation of
the Annual World Teachers Day on the 5th October.
Due to limited number of places for the
different activities, the Club tries to organise same event
several times upon requests from its members.
This year, the Club is celebrating its Silver
Jubilee. For 25 years, the club has been at the service of
primary schools' teachers. In that context, the club is
organising a series of activities which will culminate on the
Annual World Teachers Day on the 5th October 2007. |
